Friendship Force Sunshine Coast

Planning Your Visit

Preliminaries

Hosting Capacity:

The Friendship Force Sunshine Coast Club currently has a active membership of forty-five (45) with a hosting capacity of fifteen (15) ambassadors at a time. This may change as membership increases.

Ambassador Welcome

We have a welcome function for our Ambassadors on arrival and some Journeys have a Civic welcome from the Mayor. We have a week of planned group activities which usually includes activities on our rivers and beaches as well as visiting our lush semi-tropical rainforest areas. Most Ambassadors enjoy some free time so Hosts and Ambassadors can get to know one another. We also involve Co-hosts, Day-hosts, Dinner-hosts, and Activity-host)s so the Ambassadors can experience other homes and together with our club members have the opportunity to make more wonderful friendships. The Journey frequently concludes with a Club Farewell Dinner before our new friends depart on their way home or to make new friends at another Friendship Force Experience.

Hosting Activities

The Sunshine Coast is a world famous tourist attraction featuring sunshine and beautiful beaches as well a very scenic hinterland including botanical gardens and national parks.

Consequently we can cater for very wide range of activities such as sightseeing, surfing, bush walking, birding, cycling, mountain biking , tennis, golf, etc. And if you get bored with the outdoors there’s shopping, dining, movies, air museum, historical museums, etc.

In addition we have international attractions such as Australia Zoo, an underwater aquarium, and charter fishing – you name it!

Consequently if you are planning a Friendship Force Journey to us, be sure to read up on the following sections and discuss your wish lists with your Host Coordinator.
